Coach Justin Drane
Hello,
My name is Coach Drane and thank you for your interest in girl’s golf. A little bit about me, I grew up in Marshfield, MO. playing every other sport besides golf. I attended Missouri State University for my undergraduate work (Unified Earth Science Degree) and my master’s degree (Natural & Applied Science). I have been happily married to my wife, Kristine, since 2016. I grew up on a small farm so I love being outdoors (hiking, hunting, etc.) with my wife and I love love LOVE sports.
I have been teaching since 2015. I became a teacher to be a positive male role-model for students. Students are easily the best part of being a teacher and studies show, that through developing personal professional relationships with adults, students are more successful.
One of the best ways to develop those relationships is through coaching. Growing up I didn’t play golf because I was afraid of the costs. I wish I would have known how affordable golf is for high school students. My mission, as Kickapoo girl’s golf coach, is to make golf accessible to as many girls as possible, while also producing championship quality teams.
If your daughter is interested in becoming a Lady Chief golfer and you need help getting them started (equipment, info, tips, etc.), please contact me.
Go Chiefs!
